Every year, the Schwarzkopf Foundation, in cooperation with the European Youth Parliament, awards "The Young Europeans of the Year."
This opportunity allows for the nomination of a young person between 18 and 26 years old, in the year of receiving the prize, who is actively engaged in at least one of the member states of the Council of Europe and has demonstrated a commitment to improving Europe through efforts toward a pluralistic, open, and supportive society, or in the fight against injustice and discrimination.
Candidates should have achieved outstanding results and aspire to actively advocate for their ideas in the future.
The award grants 5,000 euros for a six-month internship with a member of the European Parliament or another European institution. It is also possible to finance a recipient’s own project that promotes European integration.
The award winner will become part of a European network and the jury of the Schwarzkopf Europe Award.
Deadline for nominations: 31 May 2025, 23:59 CEST.
