
M100 Young European Journalists Workshop is part of the annual international media conference M100 Sanssouci Colloquium. Young journalists will participate in workshops focusing on "Live Journalism: Fake News and Disinformation in Election Campaigns" from 7th to 12th September 2024 in Potsdam, Germany.
Who can apply
Young journalists, bloggers or scholars, between 20 and 30 years old from Europe, the countries of the Eastern Partnership Countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine).
How to apply
Applicants should submit a text in English (max 3.000 characters including spaces) to one of the following topics:
- Disinformation threatens democracy and public debate. Counter-measures are needed at many levels, involving media, politics, civil society, research and other stakeholders. Please briefly describe an example (prebunking or debunking) from your country of an innovative approach to detecting and combating disinformation that is worth discussing.
Applicants should also include their CV, and a short motivational letter in one PDF file (max 2 MB) to: application@m100potsdam.org.
Only applications in English can be considered.
