Zis Foundation invites young people aged 16-20 of any nationality to get the chance to receive a 700 Euro grant for a self-organised study trip abroad.

Who can apply

- young people between 16 and 20 years old;

- from all nationalities;

- not attending university.

Journey conditions

- research a participant-chosen topic;

- undertaken alone;

- covered solely by the 700 Euro grant;

- minimum duration of four weeks;

- start your journey latest by 30 September

- if not from Germany, travel to a German-speaking country or focus on Germany-related subject

- no air travel allowed;

- excludes regions of warfare or violent ethnic conflicts;

- participants have a personal advisor via email;

- submission of a project report (at least 8000 words), travel diary, or alternative documentation.

How to apply

- complete the application form;

- parents must complete a consent form (even if the candidate has reached the majority age).
