The European Youth Forum is looking for five young people who will form the European Youth Capital 2028 Focus Group, making sure that active youth participation is at the core of the EYC 2028 selection process.

The Focus Group will meet in Lublin, Poland (European Youth Capital 2023) on 23 and 24 July 2025.

How it works

The Focus Group will dive deeper into the specific aspects of each city's application and develop recommendations that will help the jury decide the winner.

Travel and accommodation expenses will be covered by the European Youth Forum.

Eligibility 

• EU citizens
• Have experience in fostering young people's participation in cities
• Have implemented European youth policies at a local level, or through the European Youth Capital title
