Young Civil Society Leadership Programme
Opportunity for young leaders to promote just transition in their communities
The Young Civil Society Leadership Programme (YCSLP) is seeking 26 young Mediterranean leaders for its second cohort. This cycle's theme, "Promoting Just Transition," aims to identify, empower, and network highly skilled youth leaders across ten EU Southern Neighborhood countries.
Who can apply
To be eligible, applicants must:
- be national of one of the Southern Mediterranean countries
- be between 18 and 35 years old
- be actively involved in civil society organisations and volunteering work
- demonstrate commitment to their community
- have relevant expertise in one or more of the focused areas of intervention
- be able to conceive a community-based action proposal
- be fluent in English (both written and spoken)
Selected participants will benefit from:
- a 9-month tailored youth empowerment programme
- interactive physical and online activities
- networking opportunities with young civil society leaders and experts
- financial and technical assistance for community-based action implementation
- participation in relevant Euro-Med platforms and events.
- most outstanding participants will be invited to the ALForum 2025 (all expenses covered) to showcase their community-based actions.
