
The European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) invites young people to join the Pilot Youth Advisory Panel and contribute to shaping the agency's strategic priorities, projects, and activities.
Eligibility
Be betwwen18 to 25 years old (born between 1999 and 2006)
Experience in civil society work or youth advocacy
Citizenship or legal residence in the EU or accession countries (Albania, North Macedonia, and Serbia) for at least two years prior to application
Working knowledge of English (B2 level)
Pilot Youth Advisory Panel Key Tasks
Develop structures and procedures for panel functioning
Advise the Director on FRA's future priorities and planned activities
Identify potential gaps and propose new activities
Organise and participate in intergenerational dialogues
Network and engage in FRA's work
Note: If you work for an organization that is part of FRA's Fundamental Rights Platform (FRP), you can ask them to propose you as a candidate. Two of the seven panel places are reserved for FRP candidates.
Programme details
The Pilot Panel will:
Meet in-person at the Agency to develop procedures and working methods
Advise the FRA Director on strategic priorities and planned projects for 2026–2027
Take a leading role in organising and participating in intergenerational dialogues
Have the opportunity to propose additional initiatives, with FRA providing feedback and discussing follow-up actions
