The Council of Europe's North-South Centre has launched the Human Rights Education for Youth (HEY) programme to help young people boost their skills in human rights and become media-savvy.

Eligibility

Young people between 18 to 30 years old from Council of Europe member states (with priority given to NSC

member states), engaged in civil society, with a special interest in media and information.

Porgramme

Free online course in English from 3 to 30 March 2025.

Topics

The course explores media literacy and its impact on human rights and democracy, covering legal frameworks, online safety, critical thinking, media manipulation, digital platforms, and emerging digital challenges.
